National University of Kaohsiung (abbreviated as NUK; English name: National University of Kaohsiung) was established in February 2000 by the Taiwanese government. It aims to promote the outstanding economic development of the southern region.

I. Introduction to National Kaohsiung University:
Established in February 2000 by the Taiwanese government, the university aims to narrow the educational gap between southern and northern Taiwan and promote the economic development of the southern region.
The university has 5 faculties and 24 majors. In 2006, the number of candidates applying for graduate school increased by 9% compared to 2005. The university’s Department of Applied Economics is highly regarded in world academic rankings.

- Master’s, PhD: NT$ 48,000 – NT$ 54,000/semester
- IMBA: NT$ 44,400 – NT$ 55,200/semester
2. Miscellaneous fees:
- Insurance fee: NT$ 3,500/semester
- Living expenses: NT$ 7,000/month
- Housing:
- On-campus dormitory: NT$ 7,250 – NT$ 9,800/semester
- Off-campus dormitory: NT$ 7,250 – NT$ 9,800/semester
- Off-campus dormitory: NT$ 18,000 – NT$ 30,000/semester period
